Moving from Stocky to Larderia
Shopify retired Stocky from the App Store on February 2, 2026, and Stocky stopped working on August 31, 2026. This guide covers what Shopify now handles natively in your admin, what it doesn't, and the steps to move your reorder workflow to Larderia.

Now in the Shopify admin
- Suppliers
- Purchase orders, including CSV import
- Receiving inventory
- Transfers between locations
- Inventory adjustments
- Inventory history
- Inventory counts
- Low-stock alerts (with Shopify Flow)
- ABC analysis (depending on your Shopify plan)
- Demand forecasting suggestions with Sidekick, Shopify's AI assistant
Not covered by Shopify
- Using supplier lead times, minimum orders and case packs in order calculations
- Emailing the purchase order to the supplier
- Importing old purchase orders
- Exporting suppliers
Larderia adds dedicated demand forecasting per variant and location that uses each supplier's lead time, minimum order and case pack, plus emailing the purchase order to your supplier (Growth and Pro) and importing your old Stocky purchase orders into Larderia (Growth and Pro), alongside the native Shopify flow on the left.
Migration steps
-
1
Export your purchase orders and data from Stocky while read-only access remains
Shopify states that read-only access to Stocky remains for at least 90 days after August 31, 2026. Export your purchase order history and any other Stocky data you need before that access ends.
-
2
Install Larderia
Install the app from the Shopify App Store and approve access to products, inventory, orders and locations. The app only reads orders; it updates inventory only when you receive a purchase order in the app.
-
3
Add your suppliers
Stocky doesn't allow exporting suppliers, so add each one in Larderia: lead time, minimum order, case pack multiple and contact email.
-
4
Review "What to reorder" and create the purchase order in Shopify
Check the suggested reorder list in Larderia, then download the CSV and create the native purchase order in Shopify: Products → Purchase orders → Create purchase order, then import the CSV to add the products.
